How long do sessions last?

The average session will last about one hour. We want to respect your time while giving you the attention that your circumstance deserves. To be successful in any of topic, i.e. preparing for marriage or revitalizing a marriage, you should consider committing to 4-6 sessions over the course of several weeks to a couple of months. The overall length will primarily depend on the schedules of everyone involved.

Where do your sessions take place?

Generally, the sessions take place in the Heartkeep office in Hindman, KY. On occasion, depending on the circumstances, a session might be in our home. We are, at the same time, flexible where we get together with you to make it as easy as possible for you to consistently participate.

are you willing to teach sessions in a local church, small group OR PARENT/TEACHER ORGANIZATION?

Yes, most definitely! This is an ideal setting for the Hedge Tending session. This material would work well in a Sunday School class, small group of adults or parent group desiring to prepare children for life’s challenges. The teaching would involve one session of approximately 1 hour.

are you psychologists or psychiatrists?

We are neither of these. We offer guidance based on our relationship with God, biblical principles, 45+ years of wide ranging ministry, 50 years of marriage, and the experiences of parenting four sons who are now successful adults.

What is the cost?

Heartkeep is a faith ministry so there is no cost involved for those who participate.
